Thank You Card Using Grace's Happy Heart Stamp Set (Kenndy Grace Creations)

Good Day Everyone!
I am on the Kennedy Grace Creations Blog
today sharing a floral thank you card that I made with the beautiful Grace's Happy Heart stamp set:
This is the stamp set that I used (Grace's Happy Heart):

A Peek Inside The Card
I started by using a stitched rectangle die with cream card stock. After that, I made a partial die cut circle towards the top using a stitched circle die and a craft knife to have the semi-circular shape on top. I gold embossed one of the floral images from the stamp set within the circle and colored it with Persian Blue (032) and Green (040) Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers using a wet brush.

The "thank you" was cut from a Hero Arts die that was gold embossed and adhered with a glue pen. This front panel was put on fun foam and adhered to the dark gray card base, I tucked a gold thread nest under the top portion for added interest. I then embellished with the gorgeous Isabella's Dream sequin mix (photo below) which brought out the blue and added sparkle.
For the inside of the card I cut out a stitched rectangle piece again then used gold embossing with the same floral image adding the same colors as the front of the card. The friendship sentiment was stamped with a Momento Dew Drop ink pad (Danube Blue). I again embellished with Isabella's Dream sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, I hope  that you found some inspiration!

New Sequin Mixes:

New Stamp Sets:

Grace's Happy Heart  &  You Inspire Me

Here is what I have created using the beautiful
Grace's Happy Heart stamp set:

I used a powder tool on watercolor paper then stamped the floral images with Versamark after which I embossed with Ranger gold embossing powder. I used distress inks (Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade & Mowed Lawn) to water color the flowers. I fussy cut some of the flowers out. On MFT Steel Grey cardstock, I gold embossed the sentiment from the Grace's Happy Heart stamp set. I then used a SSS rectangle & circle die to make the front panel as shown. I then placed the water colored blue floral piece under the circlular die cut window, with fun foam allowing a raised front piece.

I used gold embossed paper beneath the front panel to create a gold frame. I also used a thin strip of gold embossed paper to create a diagonal element. I then placed 2 fussy cut flowers & leaf on foam tape with gold thread nested below it. I used gold sequins from the KGC Enchanted Evening sequin mix to embellish along with a couple of gold gemstones for added sparkle. The card base is SSS Ivory card stock (100 lb.).

Earlier in the week I made this pretty set of 3 (3' x 3') note cards using each of the floral images in the Grace's Happy Heart stamp set and various Kennedy Grace sequin mixes:

Cards From The Weekend...

Hello and Thank You For Stopping By!

I purchased a Basic Grey Spice Market Background stamp recently and used it once. Then I got wrapped up in other card themes (e.g. Valentine's mostly) but still I kept that beautiful stamp right in sight on my craft table. Here's the stamp:
Hero Arts/Basic Grey's Spice Market Large Petal Background Stamp
This past weekend, I started making cards and ended up making 2 cards with it, first I made this one:

I heat embossed with Ranger Gold embossing powder. Then, I used two Tim Holtz Distress stains (Peacock Feathers & Seedless Preserves) and a Dylusions spray (Fuchsia) to add color. I poured them into palette wells and painted with a #4 round brush. I cut the bottom right edge at a diagonal then placed all cut pieces on top of a gold embossed paper. After this, I applied a die cut Grateful die which I colored with the fuchsia Dylusions spray & covered it with a clear Wink of Stella brush pen. Three sparkling turquoise embellishment dots from Queen & Company brought out the colors.

I also created this card which I posted for Kennedy Grace Creations (KGC) yesterday. I used the beautiful Isabella's Dream sequin mix:

I heat embossed with the stamp again but this time, I used Ranger Fine White Detail Embossing Powder. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (Cobalt Blue, Persian Blue & Violet) as watercolors to add color. Along the edge I used double sided tape to adhere the sequin mix to the card base. Yes, they were put on one-by-one! Took time but was worth it because I love how it looks. I saw Sandy Allnock do this in a recent YouTube video, click here to see it. The Hello die cut is from a Simon Says Stamp die and is saturated with a blue Wink Of Stella brush pen.

This shaker card is the first time I used this stamp as part of the January KGC Blog Hop (see it here):

So far, I love the cards that I have created with this background stamp and I'm looking forward to working with it again.

Come back again, I would so love that!

Kennedy Grace Creations February Blog Hop

Good Morning Crafty Friends and
Welcome to the Kennedy Grace Creations February Blog Hop!

We are so happy you have stopped by and joined us for this very special event!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

Here is what I have created for you:

I made this shaker card using the Sunshine On The Daisies sequin mix. I started by stamping the background with the Beautiful Blossoms stamp set (Newton's Nook) using Momento Dew Drop ink pads (Dandelion & London Fog). After assembling the shaker portion (frame, acetate, foam tape, stamped background piece & sequins), I cut out the Thank You with a Hero Arts Fancy Frames Thank You Die. I sponged on the Dandelion ink to the top portion of the Thank You die cut and then I applied clear Wink of Stella to it. I adhered it with a glue pen to the top of the shaker window & accented with some more sequins. The card base is Neenah Solar White (110 lb.).
It turned out so bright & pretty!
This is for a crafty friend of mine whom I want to express my gratitude for her kindness.

We will be giving away a prize package to one lucky winner.
