Flickr Win Goodies, Halloween Cards & Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Card

Hello Everyone & Thanks For Stopping By!

I recently was one of the winners of the Simon Says Stamp (SSS) Flickr Challenge - the theme was Black White and Yellow.
This was the card that I entered:
I made this card for my husband, Kiew-nik. I used the SSS October Card Kit.

The prize was a $25.00 gift certificate to the SSS Shop.
These are the items that I ordered:

Naturally I made a couple of Halloween cards with these goodies, using this fun-to-use Not So Spooky stamp set and these gorgeous Witches Brew Sequins. These are the Halloween cards that I made:

Also, I made this colorful Boo Card:
I am submitting both Halloween cards for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge ("Anything Goes").

Today I received an e-mail about the SSS Wednesday Challenge and since I have never taken part before, I thought it would be fun! The theme is Thanks / Thanksgiving. I used the beautiful Big Bloom stamp set, a collaboration from SSS and Winnie & Walter for Stamptember:

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for the water coloring. I embellished with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins (4 & 6 mm) and 5 mm flat gold Cartwright sequins. The "Thanks" was die cut from the Lawn Fawn Thanks die. I am also submitting this for the current SSS Flickr Challenge (Anything Goes).

This is the card that I made:

My Cards for the "Fallin For Fall" SSS Flickr Challenge #30

Welcome To My Blog!

With October almost over, Fall is well under way with all its beauty...the colors, the way the sunlight shines only this time of the year, the crisp smell...it has been my favorite season since childhood. So you can imagine how happy I was to see that the most recent Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge is Fallin For Fall.
I so enjoy taking part in the challenges as the themes are so inspiring, there are prizes (I recently won - yayy!) and it gives us card makers a wonderful chance to connect with each other and get feedback on our work...all plus-es in my eyes!

These are the cards that I made:

The YouTube video for this card
can be viewed here or on my channel:

I used the same technique as I used in this video to make a card for my sister, Laurie who is more than a sister: she's a friend, the Godmother to my boys, she thinks of us and helps me in so many ways...I love her and want to tell her that I am thankful for all the amazing ways she shows us that she cares. This is the card I made for her:

For all three cards, I used the Simon Says stamp set, Leaves and Scribbles, a gorgeous Fall themed set (which also has coordinating dies):

Thank you for stopping by!
I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful season!

There were 4 cards to use for inspiration:
